Barbara Ann Rooney Carrubba, age 80, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022 in Gallatin, Tennessee.
She was born on September 15, 1941 in Buffalo, New York, to the late David Rooney and the late Rita Maher Rooney.
She was a loving and welcoming kind of woman who was a mom to everyone. She was also known for being an avid sports fan, with football and hockey being her favorites. Other activities that she enjoyed were sewing, crocheting, and reading. Moreover, she was a beloved mother, grandmother, sister and aunt, who will be missed dearly.
She is survived by her children, Timothy Edwards Williams, Mary Grace Carrubba, Chris David Carrubba (Brandi Powell); grandchildren, Zachary, Allie Grace, Aliya, Ayden, Avery, Bradley; sister, Mary King; nieces, Christine (Joe) and Pam (Matt).
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her three brothers, Timothy, Johnny, and Robert "Sam".
