Billie Jean Ethridge was born in Nashville,TN on May 6, 1932 and she passed away on Monday, November 13, 2017 at her grand-daughters residence in Hendersonville at the age 85.
She was the daughter of Ernest Davis and Evelyn Neely Ward. Mrs. Ethridge was a housewife and a member of the Grays Point Baptist Church in Joelton.
Billie was preceded in death by a son, William Calvin Ethridge, parents, sister Wanda Marie Pardue, brothers Bobby and Earl Pardue.
Survivors include her husband of 61 years, WC Ethridge of Nashville; two sons, Larry (Wanda) Donnell of Dickson and Timothy (Rhonda) Ethridge of Nashville; three daughters, Ernestine (James) Humphrey of Chapmansboro, TN, Belinda (Danny) Robinson and Barbara (Burton) Watts both of Nashville; two sisters, Joyce Walker of Memphis and Beverly Proctor of Charlotte, TN; grand-daughter that she raised, Tabitha (Joe) Stacey of Hendersonville and 8 other grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, November 16, 5-8 pm at Grays Point Baptist Church, 4710 Ridge Hill Dr, Joelton, TN 37080. Visitation will also be from 10 am to 12 noon on Friday, November 17, 2017 at the church with funeral services beginning at noon. Pastor James Humphrey III will officiate and burial will follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park in Nashville.
