Bob Summers

Bob Summers, age 74 of Gallatin, passed away November 2, 2020. A lifelong resident of Sumner County, Bob was born on October 8, 1946 to the late Robert Earl Summers and the late Sue Link Summers Wilkinson. In addition to his parents, Bob was preceded in death by his stepfather, Gerald Wilkinson. He is survived by his wife of 21 years, Julie Rogers Summers; children, Robert Scott Summers; Laurie Carman (Alan), and Katelyn Venable; grandchildren, Robert Taylor Summers, Reagan Mae Summers, and Mary Alice Carman; brother, Lannie Summers (Charlene); sister, Gail Lewis (Donald); and several extended family members and close friends. A Graveside Service to honor Bob will be held on Monday, November 9, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. in Gallatin City Cemetery. The family respectfully requests that you social distance while at the service and wear a mask. In memory of Bob, do something good for someone every day.
