Mrs. Brenda Paulette Martin Amons, age 68, passed away on December 7, 2016 at Sumner Regional Medical Center. She was born in Madison, Tennessee on November 12, 1948.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Robert Steven Martin and Tinnie Mae Russell Martin; sons, Herbert Amons and Robert Amons; sister, Robbie May Wix; great grandchild, Hailey.
She is survived by her husband, William Charles Amons; sons, William Charles Amons, Jr., Lafayette; daughters, Angela Vannasdale, Lafayette; Latini Smith, Lafayette; brother, Ronnie (Jackie) Martin, Woodbury; sisters, Wanda Phillips, Gallatin; Faye Brinkley, Hendersonville; grandchildren, Chris (Brittany) Pryor, Jr.; Benjamin (Miranda) Amons; Milton Amons; Danielle Bush; Heather (Austin) Reid; Arizona Vannasdale; Senthia Chaffin; Savannah Chaffin; Jay Chaffin; Julianna Tobin; great grandchildren, Drake, Marley, Waylon, Lorena, Damien, Gabriel, Loke, Erica, Cherish, Aubrey, Zayleigh, Tucker, Shalaina, Malaiah, Braylen, Dayson, Piper, Bane.
Funeral service will be held on Saturday, December 10, 2016 at 2:00 p.m. at Shallowford Pentacostal Church, New Hope Road, Hendersonville conducted by Bros. Guy and Gary Frazier. Visitation (all at the church) will be Thursday, December 8, 5:00-8:00 p.m. and Friday, December 9, 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. On Saturday, December 10, visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to time of service at the church.
