David Curtis Lovelace, III age 72 of Hendersonville passed away Tuesday, December 1, 2020 at the Hendersonville Medical Center. David was born March 12, 1948 to the late D.C. and Gladys Childress Lovelace, Jr.
He was the owner of Lovelace Wholesale Candy Company and was a member of the Hendersonville First United Methodist Church and the Poe Williams Sunday School Class.
Mr. Lovelace is survived by his wife of 51 years, Katherine Chambers Lovelace; daughter, Tracy Lovelace (Jay) Reynolds; son, Benjamin C. Lovelace; granddaughter, Avery Jayne Reynolds; and a grandson, Ryder Bledsoe Lovelace.
Since David loved the Spring and we all recognize the need for our prolonged fight against COVID-19 (especially with Kathy’s continued positive test results), the family has decided to wait until then to schedule a Remembrance Service. Your thoughts and prayers are deeply appreciated. Many want to honor David and may do so with a donation to Hendersonville First United Methodist Church, the Sumner County Humane Society or a charity that is important to you.
