Ernest Edward Hill Iii

Ernest Edward Hill III, age 67 of Hendersonville, TN passed away Monday, February 21, 2022. “Eddie”, as he was known, was born January 16, 1955 in Nashville, TN to Ernest Edward Hill Jr. and Catherine Alberta Craig Hill.

Eddie will be remembered as loving husband, father, and grandfather. He served his Lord showing compassion to his fellow man and will be remembered for his willingness to help anyone in need. He retired from the Ford Glass Plant in Nashville after more than 25 years of service.

Eddie was preceded in death by his parents and his son, Ernest E. Hill IV.

He is survived by his wife, Hope Lynn Hill; daughters, Magen M. Hill, Dawn N. Hill, and Shawn D. Hill; brother, Kenneth Eugene Hill; and three grandchildren.

A celebration of Eddie’s life will be held at 4:00 p.m., Saturday, February 26, 2022, in the Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside Chapel with Pastor Jack Oden. The family will receive friends from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests contributions be made to the Nashville Rescue Mission, the Wounded Warrior Project, Upper Room Church of God in Christ, Raleigh, NC or the Hendersonville Church of the Nazarene.
