Ethel Mai Craighead

Ethel Mai Craighead, age 94, of Madison passed away on Friday, September 3, 2021. She was retired from the Tennessean after 38 years service. She was a former member of the Martha Baptist Church. Ethel enjoyed Bingo, game shows and loved Elvis. She was a feisty strong willed person who loved her family. She is preceded in death by her daughter, Polly Gibson. She is survived by her sons; James Craighead, Jr. and Jimmy Craighead; 9 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren, 7 great great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews also survive. Her family will receive friend from 10:00 a.m. until her Celebration of Life Service at 12:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 8, 2021 at Austin and Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville. Interment follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
