Harlin Roy Holt, Sr. was born November 7, 1940 in Nashville, TN and he passed away on Tuesday, August 29, 2017 at his residence in Gallatin surrounded by his family. Mr. Holt was 76 years old.
Harlin was the son of Samuel Roy and Jeanelle Holt. He was a member of the Old Union Church of Christ, retired from AT&T and later retired from American Telecom a business he started and owned.
He was preceded in death by three sons, Scotty Daniel Holt, Harlin Roy Holt, Jr. and Michael Lee Holt, his parents, sister, Shirley Alderdice and grandson, Christian Tyler Keith.
Survivors include his loving wife, Joanne Carol Andress Holt, daughter Julia Jeanelle McKee son, Shannon Dean Holt, all of Gallatin, sister, Diane Head of Hendersonville. 13 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren also survive.
Visitation will be on Saturday, September 2, 2017 from 11 am to 1:30 pm at the Hartsville Pike Church of Christ located at 744 Hartsville Pike, Gallatin, TN. Funeral services and military honors will be held on Saturday, September 2, 2017 at 2 pm at Hartsville Pike Church of Christ with Bro. David Gurchiek and Geoffrey Sikes officiating.
