Jack Howard

Jack Howard, age 63 of Portland, passed away May 5, 2021 at Hendersonville Medical Center in Hendersonville TN. Jack married Cynthia (Ruyle) Howard on August 5, 2006 in Portland TN who survives. Jack and his wife had made their home in Portland for the duration of their marriage. He was preceded in death by parents Odell and Margie (Spears) Howard, 2 brothers, William and David, and sister Freda Goetz. Jack was born in Winter Haven, Florida on November 12, 1957. He graduated from Stuttgart American High School in Stuttgart Germany while serving in the US Army. Jack attended House of Grace in Gallatin TN. Jack loved God and sharing the Gospel. He was a patriot who loved his country and the freedoms and values it was founded on. He enjoyed studying the Bible, history, trips to gun range, cooking/baking, and museums. He found joy in his furbabies, life, and new experiences. A Celebration of Jack's life will be Saturday, May 15, 2021, 3:00 P.M. at House of Grace 600 Lock 4 Road, Gallatin TN. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to House of Grace in memory of Jack Howard.
