Janet M. Buck

Janet M. Buck, age 76 of Gallatin, passed away August 4, 2021. Janet was born on October 28, 1944 in Boston, Massachusetts to the late William Arthur Carr and the Late Phyllis Marie Atwater Carr. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Carole Parrish. Janet is survived by her husband of 52 years, Mac Buck; children, Douglas O. Buck (Lorie), William Paul Minton (Angie) and Lisa Tolbert (Mike); grandchildren, Will Buck, Heather Barrajo (Jeremiah) and Brooks Minton; great-granddaughter, Scarlett Barrajo; sister, Linda Carr; niece, Melinda Relethford; and nephew, Burton Relethford. Janet was a loving a caring lady who never met a stranger; she was very brave and strong; and her family was the most important thing to her in life. A Memorial Service honoring Janet will be held on Monday, August 9, 2021, at 2:30 p.m., at Long Hollow Baptist Church in Hendersonville. Visitation will be from 2:00 p.m. until service time.
