Joel Scott Moss, age 61, of Gallatin, passed away on Thursday April 11, 2019 at his residence.
Joel was born in Gallatin, TN on Thursday March 20, 1958, son of the late James Glynn Moss and Nancy Lee (Scott) Mercer. Joel was the owner of Joel's Automotive in Hendersonville. Mr. Moss was preceded in death by his parents and brother Jeffrey G. Moss. Survivors are his wife Cathie Moss of Gallatin; daughter, Elizabeth (Brian) Summar Curtis of Portland; granddaughter, Taylor (Caleb) Summar Pearson of Portland; son, James Edward (Daniela) Summar, Jr. of Nashville; brother, Jody (Caroline) D. Moss of Westmoreland; sisters, Kathy E Moss of Portland and Andrea (David) Frasier of Bethpage. Grandchildren. Eric, Jesie and Maria also survive. Nieces, nephews, friends and clients also survive.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, April 17 from 12:00 to 1:00 PM at Community Church in Hendersonville, 381 W Main St. Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 17 at 1:00 PM at Community Church in Hendersonville. Services will be officiated by Elder Ottis Jones. In lieu of flowers memorials can be made to the American Cancer Society. Sumner County Funeral and Cremation Services in charge of arrangements. 615-452-9059.
