Mary Elynor Swaffer Smith, 81, of Hartsville, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, August 3, 2021. She was born on July 20, 1940, in Hiwassee, Tennessee, to the late Elder Carlous Edward and Nellie Carrine Swaffer. Mary was loved by many.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by siblings, Edward Allen Swaffer, Evelyn Wright; grandchildren, Mandy Spears, Lindsey Douglas.
She is survived by son., Frank (Kim) Smith; daughter, Denise Spears (David Odom); brother, Roy Allen Swaffer; grandchildren, Chas (Lisa) Spears, Britt (Heather) Little, Drew (Nickcole) Smith; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
A memorial service will be held at a later date.
