Matthew David Caylor, age 44, of Gallatin, passed away on January 13, 2022 in Nashville, TN. He was born on April 1, 1977 in Biloxi, Mississippi to the late David Caylor and Carole Farabee.
He is survived by his Wife of 12 years Terri and their 3 children; Harrison, Elizabeth, and Elise; sister, Tricia Schmitt (Leon); nephews Tyler and Dylan Schmitt; grandmother Juliette Wallace Caylor; Terri would also like to recognize Paul Stanford for being like a second dad to Matt.
Matthew loved camping and being outdoors. He was very active in the community and their church. Matthew was the best father and husband to Terri and their children. He was a billiards player, and loved to work with his hands.
Matthew was an MP with the 1165th Military Police Company, and he served our country for 13 months in Baghdad during Operation Iraqi Freedom.
A memorial service honoring the life of Matthew Caylor will be held at a later date.
