Minnie Rice Overton
September 23, 1924 — September 28, 2019
Minnie Rice Overton of Hendersonville, Tennessee went to be with her Lord on September 28, 2019 at age 95.
She is predeceased by her husband of 72 years, Vance Overton; her parents, Patrick and Nellie Rice; her brother, Harold Rice; sisters, Ellen Kemp and Pauline Gammon. She is survived by her two brothers, William Rice (Carol) of Hendersonville, DeWitt Rice of Dickson; plus several nieces and nephews.
Minnie was a member of McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church and retired from Miller Medical Group.
Celebration of Life Service will be conducted by Brother Johnny Carver at Austin & Bell Funeral Home on Wednesday, October 2 at 2:30 pm. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at 1:30 pm. Private interment service to follow.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to McFerrin Missionary Baptist Church, West Old Hickory Blvd, Madison, Tennessee 37115.
