Patsy Joyce Knox age 84 of Hendersonville passed away Tuesday, November 10, 2020 at Alive Hospice in Nashville.
Mrs. Knox was preceded in death by her husband, Harlan Ray Knox; parents, George and Mary Holt, Sr.; stepmother, Francis Holt; sister, Kathelene Holt; and a brother, George Holt, Jr.
She is survived by her sons, Jeff (Dawn) Knox and Greg (Jennifer) Knox; daughter, Jackie Hollis; and grandchildren, Nick (Rikki) Taylor, Chuck Rodgers, Tanner Knox, Ali Knox, Olivia Knox and Jenna Knox; great grandchildren, Jayden and Zachery Taylor; sister, Bonnie (David) Welch; and a brother, Dannie (Melba) Holt, Sr.; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 4-7pm Friday, November 13, 2020 and again from 10-11am Saturday at the Austin and Bell Funeral Home in Hendersonville. Funeral services will be conducted at 11am Saturday in the funeral home chapel with Rev. John Haines officiating. Graveside services will be conducted at 2pm Saturday in the Hickory Point Church Cemetery in Clarksville. Pallbearers will be Nick Taylor, Chuck Rodgers, Tanner Knox, Dannie Holt, Jr., Danell Welch and Robert Miller.
The funeral home asks that anyone attending the visitation to please wear a mask and refrain from any physical contact with the family such as hugs and handshakes. For your safety, all CDC guidelines are to be followed.
