Paul J. Appleyard

Paul J. Appleyard, age 82 of Mt. Juliet, passed away February 22, 2021 at his home surrounded by his family. Mr. Appleyard was born on February 12, 1939 in New York, New York. He worked as an instructor for Caterpillar and was a lover of animals. He earned the nickname “Grandpa Coffee and Donuts” from enjoying coffee and donuts with his grandchildren over the years. Mr. Appleyard is survived by his children, Christopher Appleyard (Sharon), Scott Appleyard and Misty Lee; grandchildren, Danielle Stroud (Eric), Dezarie Young (J.D.), Delilah Henning, Christopher M. Appleyard (Skylar), Emily Lee, Quinton Hiett, Gracie Hiett, Gavon Guard, Kailee Appleyard, and Angelica Guard; 9 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Eddie Fitzgerald (Lori), Cathy Calligan (Robert) and Ann Fitzgerald.
