Ricky Allan Britt

Ricky (Rick) Allan Britt, age 71 of Hermitage, passed away August 24, 2020 at his home following a lengthy battle with Cancer and Dementia. Rick was born on April 27, 1949 in Springfield, Ohio to the late Cordell and Linnie Britt. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army serving as a Combat Medic in Vietnam where he received numerous awards including a Purple Heart for being wounded in combat. Rick worked for Crawford Door Sales for 50 years and had recently retired as President in 2019 due to illness. He was a loving father and husband; he will be missed by many.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, Russell Britt, and his brother, Jerry Wayne Britt.

Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Rebecca Britt; numerous nieces and nephews; and his faithful companion, Bailey.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 26, 2020 from 11:00am until his Celebration of Life Memorial Service at 1:00pm at Austin and Bell Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Hendersonville.

The funeral home asks that anyone attending the visitation to please wear a mask and refrain from any physical contact with the family such as hugs and handshakes. For your safety, all CDC guidelines are to be followed.
