Susan Elaine Johnson, age 62 of Hendersonville, passed away on Saturday, September 9, 2017. She was born on September 5, 1955 to Edwin and Margaret Wade, who precede her in death. She was a loving wife, mother and sister. She was involved in many charities and Horse Rescue.
She is survived by her husband of 26 years, Anthony Johnson; her daughter, Samantha Johnson; a brother, John (Julie) Wade; and sisters Jana (David) Willard and Cathy (Garth) Herring.
Her family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 20, 2017, from 5:30pm until her Celebration of Life service at 7:30 pm from the Chapel of Austin & Bell Funeral Home, Hendersonville. Services will be conducted by Pastor Dan Duncan. Honorary pallbearers will include John Wade, Garth Herring, David Willard, Dirk Johnson, Derek Johnson, James Freeze, Lee Willard, Bill Anderson, Robert Payne, Justin Kroph, Micah Schweinsberg and Les Singer.
Since rescues were dear to Susan's heart should friends desire, contributions may be sent to a rescue such as Harmony New Beginnings Animal Rescue in Sheridan, OR http://animalrescueshelterhnbar.org/ in her name.
