W C Ethridge, age 86, of Nashville, passed away on Wednesday June 26, 2019 at his residence.
W C was born in Shelbyville, TN on Friday November 25, 1932, to William Thomas and Emma Bell Ethridge. Mr. Ethridge was a retired truck driver and a member of Teamsters Local 480. He also was an Amateur Radio Operator with call sign WB4FLD and a Veteran of the US Army. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Billie Jean Ethridge who passed away on November 13, 2017; brothers, Jesse and Howard Ethridge and sister, Virginia Brown. Survivors include sons, Timothy (Rhonda)Ethridge of Nashville, Larry (Wanda) Donnell of Dickson, daughters, Ernestine (proceed by James) Humphrey of Chapmansboro, TN, Belinda (Danny)Robinson of Nashville and Barbara (Burton) Watts of Nashville: granddaughter he raised Tabitha (Joe) Stacey: sister Betty Sue Williams of Bon Aqua, TN. 9 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren also survive Visitation will be held on Monday, July 1, 2019 from 4:00 to 8:00 PM at Gray's Point Baptist Church 4710 Ridge Hill Rd, Joelton, TN and again on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 from 10:00 to 12:00 PM. Funeral Service will be held on Tuesday, July 2, 2019 at 12:00 noon at the church with Pastor James Lewis Humphrey III officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park 660 Thompson Lane, Nashville,TN Sumner County Funeral and Cremation Services in charge of local arrangements. 615-452-9059
