William "Billy" Elmore Pike

William "Billy" Elmore Pike, age 87, of Hendersonville, Tennessee.
Pops was born on March 16, 1935 in Nashville, TN. He passed away peacefully beside his loving wife of 62 years at NHC where they lived together on April 15, 2022.
Billy was a graduate of Joelton High School and went on to serve his country as a Sergeant with the Army in Germany from 1958-1960. He would be honorably discharged in 1964.
He worked at Ambrose Print Company for over 50 years. Billy enjoyed playing Pops League Softball in Hendersonville where he lived for 53 years. He was known and loved by many people in the community.
Pops lived a full and happy life and we will miss him terribly.
Billy is survived by his wife, Ruby Jean Pike; son, Mark Pike (Tracy); sisters, Connie McNally (Ted) and Diane Kuzina (Michael); 5 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; and daughter-in-law, Maria Pike.
Billy is preceded in death by his son Bill Jr.; father Clinton Pike; mother Dorothy Harris; and step-mother Mary Pike.
A private memorial service will be held at a later date.
