Baker N. “Buzz” Black, age 74 of Westmoreland, passed away June 16, 2025. Buzz was born on November 13, 1950 in Gallatin, Tennessee to the late William and Elizabeth Black.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-mother, Mary East Black.
He is survived by his siblings, Phyllis Morton and William L. Black, Jr.; aunt, Celia Black; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins; and countless friends.
A lifelong resident of Sumner County, Buzz was a beloved member of the community. He was a friend to all he met. Whether you gave him a ride somewhere or you were privileged to be one of his weekly or daily visits, Buzz was truly loved by all who knew him.
Funeral Services will be conducted on Saturday, June 28, 2025 at 12:00 P.M. from the Gallatin First United Methodist Church. Interment will follow in Crestview Memory Gardens. Visitation with the family will be on Friday from 4:00 – 7:00 P.M. and on Saturday from 10:00 A.M. until time of service. All visitation will be held in Ramsey Hall at GFUMC.
