Betty Jo (Clay) Harris, age 83 of Bethpage, TN, passed away peacefully August 29, 2023. Mrs. Harris was

She was preceded in death by her husband, Lawrence Harris.

She survived by her children Rufus Clay and Willie Harris, and stepson, Noel Harris.

Betty is survived by a legacy that extends beyond their years, leaving behind a profound impact on the
lives of her family and friends. Her memory will forever be cherished by the two children she lovingly
raised, Rufus A. Clay and Willie V. Harris.

The joy of Betty's life was multiplied by the arrival of five grandchildren, who were the apple of her eye.
Tradessa S. Harris, Matthew J. Clay, Justin Harris, Shametria D. Harris, and Desiree A. Harris were a
constant source of pride and happiness, as Betty watched them grow, learn, and thrive. The bonds

her of the beauty that comes with each new generation.

Betty’s journey may have come to an end, but the memories she created, the love she shared, and the
wisdom she imparted will live on forever in the hearts of those she touched.

"Perhaps they are not stars, but rather openings in heaven where the love of our lost ones pours
through and shines down upon us to let us know they are happy." - Eskimo Proverb
