Carolyn Sue Deuel

Carolyn Sue (Crews) Deuel, age 80, of Springfield, Tennessee, passed away December 4, 2022. She was born January 13,1942, in Liberty, Missouri to the late Gertrude B. Crews and Jonas Crews. She was a dedicated and loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, sister, daughter, and aunt. She was dearly loved and will be missed. Carolyn is also preceded in death by her husband George E. Deuel; her brothers, J.C. Crews, Tom Crews, Jack Crews, Frank Crews, Fred Crews, Clarence Crews and David Crews; her sisters, Mary Marlin, Ann Justus, Ruby Gambrill, and Grace Crews. She is survived by her sister Dorothy (Melvin) Roberson; sons, Gregory Deuel, Kevin (Mimi) Deuel; daughters, Lisa (Eddie) Newton, Lori (Scott) Hanning, Melanie Hudgens; grandchildren, Joshua (Hailey) Murdock, Jessica Newton, Jacob Newton, Michael (Lauren) Bush, Matthew (Katie) Hanning, Jason Hanning, Jordan (Charles) Wheeler; Jonathan (Cassie) Hudgens, Allison Venable (Anthony), and Penny Deuel; great-grandchildren, Declan, Adler, Max, Greyson, McKenzie, Anastasia, and Piper; and many nieces and nephews.

There will be an informal gathering on Friday, December 16, 2022, from 5:00-8:00 p.m.in the Community Room at Community Church of Hendersonville (381 West Main Street, Hendersonville, TN 37075). In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to:
