Christopher Chipman, 52, of Hendersonville, passed away on August 20, 2021, at home.
He was born on August 16, 1969 in Memphis, TN, father and mother, Charles Chipman and Marge Chipman. Christopher graduated from Father Ryan High School in Nashville.
Christopher was a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother, son, and uncle. He grew up barefoot water skiing on Old Hickory Lake and loved snowboarding in Durango, Colorado. With his wife Dana, he raised a canine sidekick, Bugzy.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Charles "Chip" Chipman, III.
He is survived by his wife, Dana Hire; children Elizabeth (Dennis) Parrott, Grady (Melanie) Chipman, Channing Chipman; step-children, Taylor Swinea, Chris Swinea; grandchildren, Rosalie Chipman, Sophia Parrott, Samuel Parrott, Sutton Parrott; step-sisters, Carrie Rice, Christy DuPont.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, September 2, 2021 from 4-7 p.m. at The Rudder at Anchor High Marina, 126 River Rd., in Hendersonville.
