Denise Spears

Jerri Denise Spears, a beloved mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and sister, passed away peacefully on May 1, 2026, at the age of 60. She was born on May 23, 1965, in Gallatin, Tennessee. 

Denise dedicated her life to her family and her work, earning a living as a packer in the retail industry. Known for her generous nature, she possessed a servant's heart that always sought to uplift others. Those fortunate enough to sit at her table fondly remember her love of cooking, especially her taco salad. She found joy in the serene beauty of Florida's beaches and treasured moments spent fishing alongside her family. Her love for the outdoors reflected her vibrant personality and her appreciation for life's small joys. 

Denise is preceded in death by her parents Jerry and Mary Smith. Left to cherish her memory are her son Chase Spears and family; brother Frankie Smith and family; fiancé David Odom; and many close friends.
