Donald Wayne Dabbs

Donald Wayne Dabbs, age 76 of White House, Tennessee passed away on Sunday, April 9, 2023 at his home. Born February 2, 1947, in Nashville, Tennessee, he is the son of the late William and Lillian Napier Dabbs.

Wayne was retired but he traveled to many cities doing residential home remodeling. Wayne enjoyed coaching kid’s sports, he had many hobbies including collecting coins and baseball cards, model cars, and watching Alabama football.

In addition to his parents, Wayne was preceded in death by his son, Christopher Keith Dabbs; brother, William Luther Dabbs; Jr.; and brother-in-law, Clarence Robert Bess.

Wayne is survived by Theresa Reid Dabbs; five children whom he loved, Joseph Dabbs, Lisa (Jeff) Brown, Michael (Kelly) Dabbs, Donna (Jay) Rogers, and Scott (Ginny) Dabbs; eight grandchildren, Jessica (Ethan) Weston, Ashley (Fred) Rogers, Bridgette (Jordan) Bennett, Kelley (Josh) Brockway, Justin (Brittany) Jordan, Brice Dabbs, Tyler Dabbs and Ryan Dabbs; great grandchildren, Colton and Cooper Jordan, Lexi and Kinsley Weston; two sisters, Lorene (Raymond) Bess and Evelyn (Jack) Lawrence; and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.
