Donna June Ervin

Donna June Ervin, age 64 of Hendersonville, TN passed away December 22, 2025 in Hermitage, TN at Summit Medical Center. She was born in Omaha, NE on April 16, 1961 to Don Ervin and the former Frances Mattie Cleere. 

Donna grew up in Omaha, graduating from North High School. She worked for many years in the government and insurance field. She will be remembered for her love of singing and playing guitar. She performed at weddings and even on showboats. She loved a variety of music but some of her favorites included country standards like George Jones and Johnny Paycheck. She enjoyed singing karaoke with any pop music and especially Cher. Her poodles were a big part of her life as well, owning several over the years and they truly brought her immense joy. She also enjoyed collecting Pillsbury Doughboys later in life.

Donna was preceded in death by her parents and brother, Richard Montoya.  She is survived by her brother, Joel Montoya; cousins, Christy Morris, Don Ervin, Gale Knight, ("Donna's Baby") Neely Joe, and Preston Ervin; and her four-legged family members, her poodles, Joshua and Charlie.

A celebration of Donna's life will be held from 12:00 PM until 3:00 PM on Saturday, January 17, 2026 at the Shackle Island Fire Hall in Hendersonville located at 3199 Long Hollow Pike.
