Eileen Boehler Harland

Eileen Boehler Harland, age 79 of Hendersonville, passed away October 16, 2022 after a courageous struggle with an extended illness. Mrs. Harland was born on June 17, 1943 in Rochester, New York to the late Nelson and Margaret Boehler.
She is survived by her husband of 45 years, Leif Harland; children, Brenda Measic, Rhonda Measic and Thor Harland (Corie); grandchildren, Freyja Measic and Henrik Harland; and a host of relatives in Sweden.
Eileen was loving and proud wife, mother and grandmother who was proud of her family. She was passionate about her gardens and flowers, spending many hours tending to them. The daughter of a World War II veteran, Eileen was a proud American who supported many Veteran and First Responder Charities.
A gathering of family and friends will be held on Friday, October 28, 2022 from 4:00 P.M. until 6:00 P.M. at Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside in Hendersonville.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St Jude Children’s Hospital or Tunnel to Towers.
