Elizabeth Culbreath "Liz" Biggs, age 63 of Hendersonville, TN passed away September 24, 2022. She was born October 7, 1958 in Indianapolis, IN to the late Bobby Ray and Elizabeth Josephine White Culbreath.
Mrs. Biggs was an active member of Halltown General Baptist Church and an accomplished piano player and gospel musician, performing with her mother over the years. She worked as a real estate broker for over 30 years before embarking on a career with her husband as sleep technicians at Vanderbilt. She was a proud member of the Order of the Eastern Star for over 40 years and in March of 2022, became an Officer in the Grand Family serving as Associate Grand Conductress.
Mrs. Biggs is survived by her husband, Danny Biggs; son, Robert Nathaniel (Kristy) Biggs and their children, Dalton, Kaiden, and Easton Biggs, Sydney and Tynley Swindell; son, Daniel Joshua (Jessica) Biggs and their children, Josie Elizabeth, Hallie Grace, and Daniel Tucker Biggs; siblings, Georgia (Charles) Perkins and Robert (Cindy) Culbreath; and many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
A celebration of Mrs. Biggs’ life will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., on Saturday, October 8, 2022 at the Biggs’ home in Cottontown.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the Byron Graves Memorial Scholarship.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, September 24 in the Chapel at Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside. Burial will follow in Pleasant Hill Cemetery in Dickson County. The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. on Friday and from 9:00 a.m. until the service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
