Ellen Faye Lawson, age 62 of Hendersonville, passed away on Wednesday, August 16, 2017.
She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She is preceded in death by her parents, Homer and Lorene Grizzle. Ellen is survived by her son, Billy (Stephanie) Cothern; her daughter, Deonna (Jeff) Houchins; husband, Herbert Dunavant; grandchildren, Christa Beyerll, Orin Houchins, Elan Houchins, Jason Cothern, and Ashlynn Cothern; and great-grandchildren, Bailey Head, Xavier Houchins, and Sidney Houchins.
A Celebration of Life Gathering will be held on Saturday, August 19, 2017 from 10:00am until 1:30pm at Meadow Brook Park at The Barn in Portland. Casual dress is requested. The family requests no flowers.
Austin & Bell Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Hendersonville, has been entrusted with arrangements.
