Florence Anne Vanover, age 70 of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully on April 18, 2024 at her home. Mrs. Vanover was born on July 11, 1953 in West Virginia to the late William D. and Madeline D. Wilson.
She is survived by her loving husband, Don Vanover; her son, Greg Bowen; her brothers, Richard Lee Wilson, Dennis Gary Wilson, and Ronald D. Wilson all of West Virginia; and sister, Carolyn J. Wilson Ambrose (Guy) of Florida.
Anne was a longtime special education teacher at T.W. Hunter Middle School and was retired from Sumner County Schools. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Sharon Joive.
A Celebration of Life honoring Anne will be held on Sunday, May 5, 2024 from 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. at Ruby’s Kitchen in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Her favorite meal will be served and drinks will be served in her VAST collection of coffee cups. If the cup is on your table, please take it home in memory of her.
