Floyd Ellis Gourley, Jr.

Floyd Ellis Gourley, Jr., passed away peacefully on November 1, 2023 at the age of 65.

Floyd was preceded in death by his father, Floyd Ellis Gourley, Sr. and his mother, Joyce Marie Gourley.

He is survived by his wife, Deena Upton Gourley; siblings, Rosie H. Morgan (Rod) and Johnny Wayne Gourley; nieces, Nikki Lynn Morgan, Mary Jordan Eblen, Isabella Upton, and Merritt Upton; nephews, Heath Morgan (Alissa), Chance Eblen, Brasher Eblen and Carson Upton. 

Funeral Services will be conducted on Tuesday, November 14, 2023 at 12:00 P.M. from the Chapel of Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside with Pastor Tom Frye officiating. Interment will follow in the historic Beech Cemetery with Rod Morgan, Heath Morgan, Austin Krogstie, Chance Eblen, Randal Matuszewski and Rick Dunnagan serving as active pallbearers.

Visitation with the family will be on Tuesday from 11:00 A.M. until service time.

Floyd enjoyed fishing, camping, and martial arts, and loved German shepherds. He loved his family and enjoyed spending time with his nephews and nieces. Floyd always had a smile on his face and was always willing to extend a hand to a stranger or anyone who needed help. He will be greatly missed by all who knew him and loved him.
