Helen Young

Helen Young, a beloved mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away peacefully on August 11, 2025, in Hendersonville, Tennessee. Born in Nashville, Tennessee, on October 25, 1940, Helen's warmth and kindness left a impact on all had the privilege to know her.

She was treasured for the time spent together as a family, celebrating life's moments with joy and laughter. Helen had a deep love for vacationing, particularly at the beach, where she created lasting memories with her loved ones. Her passion for music enhanced her life, as she found joy in all kinds, sharing that passion with her family and friends.

Helen is survived by her dedicated children, Ronnie Young (Cindy) and Donna Spain (Don). Her legacy continues through her grandchildren, Brandy Taylor (Steve), Candie Rutledge (Shane), Chase Spain (Savannah), and Kelsea Louder (Tullie), as well as her great-grandchildren, Kiya, Avery, Caleb, Owen, Levi, and Axel, all of whom brought immeasurable joy to her life.

She will be dearly missed by those who survive her, as well as remembered fondly by all who knew her. Helen is preceded in death by her parents, Omer and Athon Malone, and her sister, Grace Crouch.

Visitation with the family will be held on August 14, 2025, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside in Hendersonville.
