Howard W. Carter

Howard W. Carter, age 86 of Hendersonville, passed away peacefully July 23, 2024 surrounded by his wife of 67 years, Peggy and his family.

Howard was preceded in death by his parents, Leander and Opal Carter and sister, Sandra Carter.

He is survived by his children, Angela Carter Kimbrough, Tony (Allyson), Troy (Lisa), and Tracy (Missy). He was a special granddaddy to 19 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; he is also survived by his brother, Bill Carter.

Howard was born, raised, and worked in Nashville, Madison, and Hendersonville. He was self-employed. He was a graduate of North High School.
