Jimmy enjoyed a 40-year career in sporting goods sales, with his last assignment at Ellett Brothers in Chapin, SC, where he was fondly referred to as "little Jimmy" by those known as the Ellettonions. His big personality ensured he was a memorable presence, lighting up every room he entered with his humor and joy. Demonstrating his patriotism, Jimmy proudly served in the United States Air Force, completing two tours in Vietnam. He then furthered his education by graduating in 1973 from Middle Tennessee State University.
Outside of work, Jimmy passionately pursued hobbies that included hunting, fishing, and golf. These passions were complemented by his deep love for family. He enjoyed coaching and cheering his children on in various sports and later in life he could be found cheering on his grandchildren at their sporting events.
He is survived by his devoted wife of 45 years, Cornelia Breedlove Andrews; his children, Teonna Ryan (Chris), Lindsay Vaughn (Jon), and Cayci Ferrara (T.J.); and his beloved grandchildren, Lauren Ryan, Andrew Ryan, Cooper Vaughn, Macy Vaughn, Lucy Ferrara, Margo Ferrara, and Trace Ferrara.
