James Kevin Harper, age 50, passed away January 9, 2017. He was a loving person who worked hard and enjoyed life. He is preceded in death by father, James Harper; grandparents, Oscar & Pauline Dorris of Springfield and Claude & Louise Harper of Springfield. Kevin is survived by his parents, David & Patsy Potter; brother, Jeffrey Scott Harper; sister, Jamie (Joshua) Haley; nephews, David Thomas Harper and Trevor Harper; and many loving and supporting friends. Honorary Pallbearers include, Ashley Stanfield and Will Goodwin. A Celebration of Life gathering will be held at Austin & Bell Funeral Home and Cremation Service on Sunday, January 15, 2017 from 1:00 until 3:00 pm.
