James Wesley Parrish

James Wesley Parrish, a beloved husband, father, and friend, was born on November 15, 1966, in Madison, Tennessee. He left this world on April 7, 2026, in Goodlettsville, leaving behind a legacy of kindness and a spirit of hard work that touched everyone he knew. 

James, who spent much of his life as a dedicated roofer in the construction industry, was known for his unwavering support and willingness to lend a hand to those in need. He cherished the time spent working on the farm alongside his father, John, who instilled in him a love for the land and a strong work ethic. His warmth and genuine nature will forever echo in the hearts of his family and friends. 

He is survived by his devoted wife, Penny Michelle Parrish, his sons Joshua Allen Gregory and Jonathan Codey Parrish, and his cherished grandson, Evan Lee Gregory. James will also be remembered lovingly by his brother, Johnny Parrish, and sister, Debra Vaughn, along with his nephews, Landon Parrish and Christopher Vaughn, and a host of friends who were fortunate enough to know him. There will not be services scheduled at this time per the family’s request.
