Janet Lee Stalnaker Woods

Janet S. Woods left us on Monday, January 26, 2026, at home. Janet was born on October 10, 1940 in Gay, WV. She was the daughter of the late Ralph Stalnaker and Effie Mae ( Westfall) Stalnaker. Also preceding her in death, her husband, Russ, Woods, and brother, Walter D. Stalnaker.

Janet was the best mom God could’ve given us. leaving behind her loving daughters, Cindy Woods Williams ( Jeff) and Amy Woods Tate (Todd). Mothering was her ultimate job and she did it so well. She also leaves behind her loving grandchildren, Bill Williams (Allie), Jesse Williams Radford (JD), Jeremy Tate ( Lexi), Cassidy Tate, Layla Tate, and her great grandson, Asher and one great grandchild on the way. She also loved her nephew, Tim Stalnaker, and her niece Lisa Stalnaker Runyon. She was greatly loved by her family and friends. She wanted to make sure that you knew the Lord because she said she would be waiting for you in heaven. 

A celebration of life will be held at a later date for Janet and Russ Woods
