Jason Lee Strong was born on August 3, 1975, in Phoenix, Arizona, and passed away August 8, 2026, in Gallatin, Tennessee. Jason is survived by the love of his life Emily Jean; mother Debbie King; grandparents CeCelia and Larry Benovsky, and Tom Crittenden; sister Billie Jo Strong and her husband Josh Neiman, and their children Brayden, Clayton, Bodhie and Lettie; sister Tiffany Strong and her children Freya and Milo; two stepmothers Tracy and Monica; aunt Cindy Clark; uncles Kyle Strong and Kenny Clark; several cousins; and many really great friends.

Jason considered himself a bit of a nomad and lived life to the fullest, jumping from planes and shooting out of tanks. Jason had the best smile and his laugh was contagious. He was a lover of all music, playing guitar and singing his heart out. Jason was active in the wrongful conviction/innocence programs after being completely exonerated himself after being taken away from loved ones for fifteen years. He was an honorable and trustworthy man who was always willing to help those in need. His family and friends grieve now as his life taken way too soon.

Jason is preceded in death by his father Billy Scott Strong Jr. along with his uncle Greg Koonce.

Please join the family in celebrating Jason's life on Saturday, September 12, 2026, at 1:00 PM at Laguardo Baptist Church in Lebanon, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Jason's name to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
