Jeannie Michelle Schulze

Jeannie Michelle Schulze, aka “Bean”/”AJ”, age 18 of Gallatin, TN passed away Saturday, June 17, 2023 in Gallatin, TN. She was born March 1, 2005 in Dickson, TN to Don and Tammie Schulze.

Jeannie loved her family and was beloved by all who knew her. She will be remembered for her kindness and compassion, and great sense of humor, as she loved to make everyone laugh. She was a very talented and gifted person, and excelled at everything she attempted.  She’ll be remembered as a performer: A percussionist during her school years and a singer in Carpool Karaoke with her sister and niece, Jane and Olivia.  She was an avid lover of music; From 1960’s classic rock (Queen and Jethro Tull especially) to more modern acts (Foo Fighters, Rage Against the Machine, Eminem, Weezer, Cuco, and her all-time favorite, Nirvana.

Jeannie also loved anime and would always stop to love on any dog or puppy who needed some attention. She enjoyed walking to the creek every night to get photos of the setting sun. She had been accepted and planned to attend Vol State where she hoped to begin studies culminating in a career in counseling to help troubled teen girls.

Jeannie is survived by her parents, Don and Tammie; her brother, Charles Schulze; sisters, Jane (Tim) Jarmuzek and Haylee Schulze; niece, Olivia Jarmuzek; grandparents, great-grandparents, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.

A gather to celebrate Jeannie’s life will be held from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m., Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Sumner Funeral and Cremation Lakeside. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to Centerstone of Tennessee or to The Jason Foundation.
