Jennie Belle Downs

Jennie Belle Downs age 82 of Gallatin, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on February 23, 2025 at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin, TN. 

A Celebration of Life will be at Gallatin Church of Christ, 150 E. Main St. Gallatin, TN 37066 at Tuesday March 25, 2025 Visitation (2-4p) with service following. Bro. Larry Perry will be officiating service.

 Ms. Downs is preceded in death by Terry Duffer Sr. & Anna Delia Smith Clubbs. In addition to her parents she’s preceded in death by brothers, Terry Duffer, Buck Clubbs; sister Wanda Jean McKinney; & one great granddaughter. 

She is survived by her children, Pamela Perry (Larry) of Gallatin, TN, Melvin Downs of Gallatin, Michael Downs of Bethpage, and Penny Downs of Bethpage; brothers, Bobby Duffer of Westmoreland, Dinky Duffer of Hartsville, Robert Clubbs of Blairsville, GA, and Don Clubbs of Bethesda, MD; sister, Pat Nolen of Durham, NC; 10 grandchildren & 9 great-grandchildren, 14 great-great grandchildren. Ms. Jennie was a devoted mother, grandmother, sister, and friend. She was known for her beautiful smile, her love for family and friends, and she will be deeply missed.
