Jimmy Frank Price, 78, of Madison, Tenn., died April 18, 2026, in Nashville.

Born Feb. 8, 1948, in Albertville, Ala., Jim was the son of John and Kathleen Price. He graduated from Albertville High School in 1967 and later attended Snead State Community College and Jacksonville State University.

Jim built a long career in sales and was known as a gifted manager, respected and appreciated by those who worked alongside him. Over the years, he sold a wide range of products, including Yellow Page ads, automobiles, real estate, and vacation properties. His easy manner and quick wit made him a natural salesman and a friend to many.

He enjoyed traveling, golfing, hunting and fishing, and was a devoted supporter of Alabama football. (Roll Tide!) He was especially known for his humor and storytelling, and for his ability to connect with people wherever he went.

He was a devoted husband, father, and friend. He shared 43 years of marriage with his wife, Sherry Marie Price.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Gary Wayne Price.

Survivors include his beloved wife, Sherry; three daughters, Heather Scudder (Kyle), Kimberly Norris (Joel), and Leigh Thigpen; grandchildren Alex, Arrow, and Ari; his sister, Connie Witt; and several nieces, nephews, and extended family members.

A visitation will be held Wednesday, April 29th, 2026, from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM, followed by a service at Sumner Funeral & Cremation Lakeside, 104 Sanders Ferry Road, Hendersonville, TN 37075.
