John F. Booze

John F. Booze, 82, of Hendersonville, TN passed away on Sunday, September 21, 2025 at Tristar Hendersonville Medical Center. John is survived by his wife, Patricia A. (Stoner) Booze whom he married on September 5, 1964; daughter, Connie Booze and son, John E. Booze (Kim Reese). Other survivors include: grandchildren; William Hingson, Skyler D. Stebing, Moriah Keller and Anastasia Gilbert. Great grandchildren; Ali Cousins, AZ Cousins, and Lilith Richardson. Sisters: Diana Wagner, Julia Albert, and Becky Huffer.

John was born on July 18, 1943 in Fremont, OH to Clyde Everett Booze and Margaret Smith Booze, both deceased. Deceased siblings include brothers: Clyde, James, Dan and Norman Booze; Sisters: Margaret Nieset, Janet Barnett, Helen Booze, and Kathy Scott.

John attended Fremont Ross High School, class of 1968. John joined the National Guard after high school. He worked multiple trades, including excavation with Booze Excavating and Mosser Construction, drop forge operator, pipe fitter, the Sugar Beet Factory in Fremont, OH, and a truck driver and dispatcher. John worked at M S Carriers which Swift bought and he retired from there. John was also a self-taught computer programmer.

John enjoyed spending time with his family, boating, fishing, and most notably horse racing. John also enjoyed telling jokes, and there wasn’t anyone who enjoyed his jokes more than himself. His laugh was infectious and will be missed.Services to be held at the First Presbyterian Church located at 172 W. Main St., Hendersonville, TN 37075 starting at 1:00pm.
