Johnny Lee Bailey

Johnny Lee Bailey, age 85 of Byrdstown, TN, passed away peacefully October 13, 2022 at his home. Mr. Bailey was born on October 3, 1937 in Rossville, Georgia to the late O’Dene Bailey and the late Anita Pope Bailey. Johnny is survived by his wife of over 61 years, Wanda Bailey; sons, Bill Bailey (Trinda) of Lebanon and Tim Bailey (Clarissa) of Cross Plains; grandchildren, Sean Bailey, Erin Bailey, Maguire Wicking (Chris), and Macauley Bailey; great-grandchild, Julian Wicking; sisters, Joyce Kent and Patricia Silcox (Harold); and brother, David Bailey. Johnny was a 1958 Graduate of the Tennessee School for the Deaf; he worked in newspaper printing for many years with the Texas Granbury, The Tennessean and the Nashville Banner.
