Joseph Raymond “Joe” Belcher, a beloved husband, father, Papa, uncle, and friend, passed away peacefully on May 8, 2026, at the age of 60, following a courageous battle with pancreatic cancer. Joe was born on September 26, 1965, in Dearborn, Michigan. He later raised his family in St. Clair Shores, Michigan, before moving to Bethpage, Tennessee, in 2018.
Joe is survived by his loving wife of 37 years, Debbie Belcher; his two daughters, Rebecca Gallion (Lance) and Victoria Crites (Garrett); and his five cherished grandchildren: Kenzie Gallion, Joey Crites, Charlotte Crites, Lincoln Gallion, and Remington Gallion. Joe was one of five children born to Claudia Barnes and Kenneth Belcher. He was lovingly raised by his mother and stepfather, Edwin Barnes. He is survived by his brothers, John Belcher (Tracey) and Brian Belcher; his beloved sister, Ellen Belcher-Reno (Kim); and was preceded in death by his brother, Russ Belcher (Kathy).
Joe dedicated more than 40 years to the restaurant industry, where he was known for his strong work ethic, leadership, and love for serving others. Throughout his career, he proudly owned and operated several businesses with his wife, his favorite being The Waterfront Deli, a place that reflected his passion for good food and bringing people together. As one of four boys growing up, Joe developed a strong competitive spirit that stayed with him throughout his life. He was a devoted fan of Michigan football, Tigers baseball, and Red Wings hockey. In his free time, he especially enjoyed bowling and golfing.
Nothing meant more to Joe than his family. He treasured every moment spent with his wife, daughters, and grandchildren. Joe will be remembered for his contagious laugh, joyful spirit and loving soul. His kindness and sense of humor touched everyone who knew him, and his memory will live on in the hearts of his family and friends.
