Joseph Cecil Scott Jr.

Joseph Cecil Scott, Jr., age 79 of Hendersonville, passed away March 15, 2022. Mr. Scott was born on May 18, 1942 in Nashville, Tennessee to the late Joseph and Elizabeth Scott. He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Peggy Scott; son, James A. “Tony” Scott (Rita); grandchildren, Delton Coakley, Ashley Prince and Dylan Prince; great-grandson, Marshall Coakley; and sister, Linda Davis (Mike). Mr. Scott was a longtime member of Hendersonville Church of Christ. A Graveside Service honoring Mr. Scott will be held on Monday, March 21, 2022 at 10:00 A.M. in Hendersonville Memory Gardens with Bro. Keith Parker officiating. Active pallbearers will be T.J. Groves, Michael Davis, Jr., Don Litchford, Bobby Newberry, Pat Rymer, Dylan Prince, Ted Borecki, and Rod Stamps. Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Kiser and Tom Swint.
