Justin Frederick Rich, age 50, passed away peacefully at his home in Gallatin, Tennessee on May 16, 2026.

Justin was born on December 11, 1975, in Indianapolis, Indiana. In February 1983, he moved with his family to Hacienda Heights, California, where he spent much of his youth and graduated from Glen A. Wilson High School in 1993.

Justin built a career as a commercial construction superintendent in both California and Tennessee. He was highly skilled in his trade and took great pride in his work, but those who knew him best would say his greatest strength was the way he cared for people and made them laugh.

A devoted follower of Jesus Christ, Justin was an active member and volunteer at NorthField Church in Gallatin alongside his beloved wife, Lisa. His faith shaped the way he lived — with kindness, generosity, humility, humor, and joy. Justin faithfully used his construction skills to serve others through the Appalachia Service Project (ASP) at Northfield Church in Gallatin, participating in annual mission trips that repaired homes and improved living conditions for families in need. His servant’s heart and willingness to help others reflected the strong faith he carried throughout his life.

Justin married Lisa Campbell in May 2010 in Rancho Cucamonga, California. Together they built a loving home centered around faith, family, laughter, love, loyalty, and hospitality.

Justin had a contagious laugh and a smile that instantly made people feel welcome. He was happiest surrounded by family and friends, often gathered around a barbecue smoker preparing meals for everyone he loved. He cherished the outdoors and created countless memories taking his family camping and dirt bike riding in the California desert with close friends and their families. Those who knew Justin in his younger years remember his fearless spirit and love for adventure, whether he was launching bicycles over jumps, skateboarding, snowboarding, or riding motorcycles in the desert with friends. Justin was also a passionate and lifelong Philadelphia Eagles fan who proudly cheered for his team every season.

Justin is survived by his loving wife, Lisa Rich; his son, Toby Rich of Gallatin, Tennessee; stepdaughter Hailey Rivera of Gallatin, Tennessee; and stepson Devon Nealeigh and his wife, Liana, of Cookeville, Tennessee. He was a proud grandfather to Hudson, Alan, and Clark Nealeigh.

He is also survived by his parents, Fred and Rosalie Rich of Trabuco Canyon, California; his brother Jason Rich and wife Jamie of San Clemente, California, and their children, Malia and Makai; and his brother Jared Rich and wife Hannah of Trabuco Canyon, California, and their children, Marin and Fisher; along with many extended family members, friends, church family, and coworkers who will deeply miss his warmth, laughter, and unwavering kindness.

A celebration of Justin’s life will be held on Saturday, June 6, 2026, at 1PM at NorthField Church in Gallatin, Tennessee. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the NorthField Church Scholarship Fund in honor of Justin’s life and heart for serving others more importantly, our next generation.

Justin’s life was a reflection of faith, love, and service to others. He leaves behind a legacy of generosity, joy, laughter and cherished memories that will continue to live on in the hearts of all who knew him.
