Karl Wesley Evins

Karl Wesley Evins, age 88, of Gallatin, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022, at Sumner Regional Medical Center in Gallatin.
He was born on September 3, 1933, in Nashville, Tennessee, to the late Paul Harvell Evins, and the late Genevieve McGilton Evins. He was a man who loved life. He was known for being an avid golfer and having a strong trust in the Lord. He has enjoyed fellowship at Lifepointe Church in Hendersonville for 22 years. The family wants the Pastors there, Marty and Tracy Layton, to know how much they meant to Karl. He was also a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, and uncle who will be missed dearly.
He is survived by his wife of 36 years, Sheryl C. Evins; children, Sheri Hutchison (Todd) of Brentwood, TN, Kim Landrum (Frank) of Auburn, KY, Robert F. Hayes of Gallatin; grandchildren, Rachel Stokes (Joseph), Rebekah McGehee (Jonathan), Kristen Tedder (Chris), Jennifer Abney (Joseph), Tyler Landrum, and Thomas Landrum; 13 great-grandchildren; brother, Don L Evins (Elizabeth) of Terry Hills, NSW, Australia, and their children, Claire and David and their families; sister, Shirley Eldridge (Allen) of Ft. Worth, TX, and their children, John McClendon, Steve McClendon, Leslie Campbell, and their families; and several cousins.
