In Loving Memory of Kathleen "Kathy" Drobot, age 67, of Portland, Tennessee, who passed away unexpectedly on September 23, 2026.

Born on November 3, 1958, Kathy brought warmth, kindness, and a vibrant spirit to everyone she met throughout her journey of life. Growing up, she had a loving relationship with her parents, Tom and Betty, and sisters, Joanne and Jeannie, and had fun playing pranks on her little brother, David.

Kathy shared a devoted, fun, and loving marriage with her beloved husband, Robert "Bob" Drobot. They met in high school, and were married shortly after that. Together, they shared a wonderful life filled with parties and adventure. They enjoyed boating with family and having fun by the pool. They set up cherished homes in communities in Michigan, Arizona, and finally in Tennessee, where they fell in love with the scenic beauty and peaceful surroundings of the Tennessee area.

A dedicated and hardworking professional, Kathy spent many years connecting with people and bringing joy to others. She was known for her exceptional, warm service to countless customers in the restaurant industry and later brought her intelligence and dedication to her work with her husband, Bob, with the Invention Submission Corporation.

Beyond her career, Kathy's heart belonged to her family and her passion for animals. She was a passionate dog lover, providing boundless affection to her furry children over the years.

Kathleen is survived by her husband Robert, loving siblings, Joanne (the late Don) Keuhn, Jeanette (George) Herning, and David (Rachel) Holgate.

She was preceded in death by her beloved parents, Thomas and Betty Holgate and her father and mother-in-law, Richard and Gloria Drobot. She was a beloved and devoted aunt and Godmother, treasured by her many nieces and nephews.

Kathleen will be remembered for her generous heart, her bright smile, and the deep love she had for her family, her friends, and her dogs. She will be profoundly missed by her husband, Bob, her sisters and brother, her extended family, and all who had the privilege of knowing her.

A memorial service and celebration of life gathering will be held to honor Kathy's beautiful memory on what would have been her 68th birthday:

• Memorial Service: Tuesday, November 3, 2026, at 3:00 p.m. at the St. Hedwig Cemetery Chapel, located at 23755 Military Road, Dearborn Heights, MI 48127.
