Leon Alexander Smith, age 57, of Cross Plains, Tennessee, passed away on Thursday, September 8, 2022, in Hendersonville, Tennessee.

He was born on June 7, 1965 in Springfield, Tennessee, to the late John Smith, Jr., and the late Sue Helen Groves Smith.

He was known as a jack of all trades, master at none. He was truly gifted to work on anything. Most of all he was a beloved brother and family member who will be missed dearly by many.

He is survived by siblings, Joann Smith, John Smith, III (Navie), Robert Wayne Smith; daughter, Alexis Smith; step-daughters, Brianna and Mary Dimnam; four other beloved children; good friends, Dirty Bird, James Turner, Muscle Pig; and several nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts and uncles.

The family would like to extend a special thank you to Leon's beloved friend, Felix Hershberger.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his brothers, Roger Smith and Henry Smith.

Funeral Service will be held Friday, September 16, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church, Tennessee,130 Bradley Lane, Cottontown, Tennessee, with Rev. Walter Grant to officiate. Visitation will be held from 12:00 p.m. until service time. Burial to follow at Oak Grove Missionary Baptist Church Cemetery. Friends and family to serve at pallbearers.
